Submerge Productions
Technical diving, although it has gained popularity recently, is still one of the less known diving disciplines. Submerge Productions is a group of experienced Belgian divers specialized in technical diving. Their video podcasts series bring you video interviews, training videos, gear reviews and tests. They also have a feed with underwater footage, wreck talks and dive reports.
Their goal is not only to dive, but also to shoot video and photos. They operate well beyond recreational depths. Their team explores the “twilight zone”, the sub 80 meter zone. At those depths, where natural light hardly penetrates the water, there are beautiful shipwrecks, deep reefs and large predators to be found. What they love most is crawling through deep wrecks. At home in cold water, Submerge Productions has visited several wrecks in the North Sea. Over the years they gathered footage of different wrecks down to 100 meters in the Egyptian Red Sea. This summer they are focusing on the Mediterranean, diving wrecks in the South of France and in Sardinia, all in the 50 to 100 meter zone.
Next to the underwater adventures, Submerge Productions also provides video interviews with well known people of the diving industry. They visit diving conferences, talk to equipment manufacturers, discuss the latest novelty in diving gear, and get the creme de la creme in diving in front of the camera. Also, you will find them testing new equipment and documenting dive destinations.
The core video team consists of underwater cameraman Peter Cabus, lights and soundman Stefan ‘Apo’ Crab and host and video editor Liesbeth Liekens.
